FAQs
Where should I go first?
It’s highly recommended that when you arrive at Arlington National Cemetery you stop by the Welcome Center, which is right near the entrance. You’ll get a great education about this historic site via several displays and exhibits. In addition, you'll find maps and information services as well as a bookstore.
When is the changing of the guard?
Between October 1 and March 31, the Changing of the Guard takes place every hour on the hour at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. There are more opportunities to see this elaborate spectacle from April 1 through September 30 as an additional change is added on the half hour.
