FAQs
Can I get there via public transportation?
You sure can. Take the Metro to the Foggy Bottom/George Washington University station. It can be accessed from the Orange, Blue, and Silver lines. Once you arrive, it’s a short walk to the Kennedy Center along New Hampshire Avenue. There’s also a free shuttle that leaves from the Metro station every 15 minutes.
Are there restaurants inside?
As a matter of fact, there are two restaurants inside the Kennedy Center. The Roof Terrace Restaurant serves international cuisine for dinner and a well-rounded Sunday buffet brunch. More casual dining happens at the KC Café, which features sandwiches and salads for lunch and pasta and fish for dinner.
